Every month we will turn the spotlight on one of the team. Next up: Tafadzwa Demba, Senior Full Stack Developer.
Tafadzwa joined Enhance in September 2022 as a Full Stack Developer. After a year in this role, he was promoted to Senior Full Stack Developer in October 2023.
Tafadzwa is primarily focused on ensuring the tech at the heart of Enhance’s operation runs smoothly, through building and maintaining features within Mosaic, the firm’s proprietary FinTech software, and undertaking a range of exploratory projects to support and advance the company’s goals. Day-to-day, he works closely with Allan Pister, William Osborne, Bill Higgins, and COO, Justin Simpson.
Tafadzwa was educated at University of Zimbabwe, where he studied Business Studies and Computing Science. He then undertook a Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence at the IU International University of Applied Sciences. From working as a Full Stack Developer at one of Africa’s top technology solutions providers to leading the development team at an online tutoring platform, Tafadzwa joined Enhance with a wealth of design and development experience.
Creative and eager for challenge, Tafadzwa chose a career in the dynamic world of software development as it provides an excellent outlet to use his creativity. Away from the computer, Tafadzwa enjoys spending time with his family, playing chess (although he self-proclaims he has a lot to learn…), and occasionally sitting back and switching off!
