Dr Ruzhen Li is Head of Advisory at Enhance Group. Formerly Head of Consultancy at the firm, Ruzhen relocated from the Group’s London office to its Jersey headquarters in 2020. She heads up both the Portfolio and Consultancy advice services and manages a growing team of investment consultants, research analysts and support staff, overseeing c$3bn of investment assets on behalf of a global fiduciary and family office client base.
Dr Li has over 15 years of experience in researching investment managers to advise families and their professional advisors on complex investment affairs. Her approach combines her academic diligence, professional training, and skills as a qualified hypnotherapist in manager research to select the best talents that the investment industry has to offer.
Born a native Chinese, Ruzhen completed her PhD in Engineering before starting her career with Deloitte Private Client Services Limited and became a CFA Charter Holder. Dr Li then co-led a management buyout of the investment and pension consulting business, which led to the establishment of LJ Athene Investment Advisory Limited, where she was Head of Research and a founding member.
Alongside her financial advisory career, Dr Li enjoys career and life coaching, having been the visiting lecturer for Brunel University since 2014. Dr Li is also a proud parent and fully embraces the challenges and joys that come with it.
