Every month we will turn the spotlight on one of the team. Next up: Allan Pister, Development Manager.
Allan joined Enhance as Development Manager in March 2022, having accumulated over 20 years’ experience in software development. His impressive resume spans two decades, two continents, two countries and two states.
After graduating with a degree in Chemical Engineering from Grossmont College, CA, in 1993, Allan spent two years state-side at Dakoni Inc, researching and developing software to run on mobile phones using a proprietary XML language. He then relocated to Jersey, UK, where he joined Cronus as a Senior Software Developer. Following this, Allan spent 13 years with Port80 Software; he was a founding company creator and responsible for the conceptualisation and implementation of the product development platform, licensing software, deployment, and testing environment. Over the next several years, he worked with a handful of other firms, in both a software developer and project management capacity, before he joined Enhance last spring.
Day-to-day, Allan has primary responsibility for driving the technical evolution of the firm’s proprietary software, Mosaic 2.0. He oversees a team of talented developers who work alongside Allan to maintain, improve and add key functionality to the flagship application. He works hand-in-hand with the wider Enhance team in order to realise business objectives and ensure Enhance remains at the forefront of the FinTech sector.
