Enhance Chairman, Guernsey's Chief Minister, Deputy Lyndon Trott OBE, has been appointed as Chair of the Trustees of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association Charitable Funds.

The appointment of Deputy Lyndon Trott OBE follows the coming into law of the 'Commonwealth Parliamentary Association and International Committee of the Red Cross (Status) Act 2025’, which provides the basis for the status of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association to be brought into line with other similar international bodies.

Deputy Lyndon Trott OBE said: “This is a major post and I am very honoured to have been appointed to it. This also reflects well on the reputation that Guernsey has as a well-regulated jurisdiction, as confirmed by the recent Moneyval report. Being chair of the CPA Charitable Funds does not require me to be a sitting member of the States, and I am delighted that I will be able to continue this link with the parliamentary world when I leave the Assembly in July.”

Deputy Trott has been Chairman of Enhance for seven years and has co-invested with staff to become a significant minority investor in the independent, owner-managed provider of investment monitoring and consultancy solutions to fiduciaries.

Tom Wiseman, CEO at Enhance, added: "Enhance is incredibly proud of Lyndon's long standing work with the CPA and are delighted that it will continue in this capacity. Enhance specialises in supporting fiduciary investors, so Lyndon's appointment here is particularly pleasing."
